Greek Folk Dancing Lessons

Come with us and try it!

You can have a lot of fun and learn between 1 & 3 dances within an hour, depending on the difficulty of dances and any previous experience you might have.

Anyone above 7 years old can take part and learn traditional dances from Sifnos as well as other regions of Greece and the Greek islands including Epirus, Thrace, Pontus, and Asia Minor.

In every group we'll talk about your preferences and choose which of the following dances we are going to learn:

 

	From	SIFNOS	the	Sirtos, Mpallos, Kalamatianos
	From	EPIRUS	the	Sirtos, Tsamiko, Kalamatianos
	From	THRACE	the	Sfarlis, Podaraki
	From	PONTUS	the	Omal, Kotsaris
	From	ASIA MINOR	the	Sirtos, Karsilamas, Chasaposerviko, Chasapiko
	From	CRETE	the	Siganos, Chaniotis
	From	NAXOS	the	Sirtos
	From	AMORGOS	the	Ni Ke Ntre
	From	IKARIA	the	Ikariotikos
	From	KALYMNOS	the	Isos

 

You can attend a single one-hour lesson or you can participate in more.
Book 4 or more lessons and receive a discounted price.
Discounts are also available for groups of 4 or more people.
Lessons are daily from 14:00 to 15:00 and need to be booked in advance.
At the end of the course you will be given notes and music to enable you to keep practicing at home!

Participants to the dancing lessons must be at least 7 years old.
