Starting from Athens we drive westwards along the scenic coast, until we
reach the Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views and have a short
stop for coffee or a picture of the famous canal (78-meters high,
24-meters wide, 6,343-meters long and 12 meters deep)
Shortly thereafter we reach the ancient town of Corinth where St. Paul lived and preached for two years. Back in the ancient times Corinth was amongst the richest of cities and this is quite evident by its remains, including the huge agora (market place) and Apollo's Temple (6th B.C).
The tour also includes a brief stop at the site of the ancient port
of Kechreai where St. Paul disembarked.
Return to Athens in time for lunch.
Tour starts at 08:45 and ends at approx 14:00.
